Along the way, discover some of the Dingle Peninsula’s most iconic sights, including Ventry Harbour, ancient beehive huts, Slea Head, Coumeenoole Beach, Dunquin Pier and spectacular views of the Blasket Islands. You’ll also visit famous Star Wars filming locations and have the opportunity to stop at a traditional sheep farm and meet the baby lambs.

Enjoy beautiful views across Ventry Harbour and Dingle Bay from Ventry Pier, one of our first scenic stops along the Slea Head Drive.

Sheep Farm & Beehive Huts

Step back in time at the ancient Fahan Beehive Huts and enjoy the opportunity to visit a traditional sheep farm and meet the baby lambs. (Admission €5 per person, payable locally.)

Slea Head

Experience one of the most spectacular sections of the Wild Atlantic Way, with breathtaking views across the Atlantic Ocean towards the Blasket Islands.

Coumeenoole Beach

Enjoy spectacular views of Coumeenoole Beach, Dunmore Head and the Blasket Islands. This dramatic coastline also featured in the classic film Ryan’s Daughter.

Dunquin Pier

Discover one of the most iconic and photographed locations on the Dingle Peninsula. Take in spectacular views of the famous winding pathway down to Dunquin Pier and across the Atlantic Ocean to the Blasket Islands.

Clogher Head & The Three Sisters

Take in spectacular views of Clogher Head, the Three Sisters and the rugged Atlantic coastline. This dramatic landscape was used as a filming location for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, making it a must-see stop for movie fans as well as one of the most impressive viewpoints on the Dingle Peninsula.

Gallarus Oratory

Discover Gallarus Oratory, one of the Dingle Peninsula’s best-preserved early Christian sites, believed to date back over 1,000 years. This stop is included when time permits.
